Student letters will be mailed to sponsors in early September.  The dates on your student letters will vary depending on when the Nepal staff were able to visit them, so please understand by the time you receive your letter it may have been written a couple months ago.  If you have not received an envelope from us by mid-September, please contact Lisa at lisa.durham@answernepal.org.  On occasion, envelopes get lost in the mail.  If you sponsor a younger student (up through Grade 10) the deadline for your reply letter is October 2.

For those of you who sponsor an older student (in Grades 11, 12, Technical school or University) you have the option of communicating by physical letter or electronically.  Once students complete Grade 10, the Nepal staff help them set up email accounts.  Each student’s internet access varies, but all students are required to write to their sponsors at least twice per year. If you send a physical letter to your student, you will receive a physical letter in return.  If you email your student, you will receive an email reply. The September mailing will include your student’s email address in case you do not already know it.  Whether you correspond electronically or with physical letters, you will continue to receive grade reports and updates on your student’s progress twice per year in the mail.

Thank you for taking the time to correspond with your student!
