Six sponsors from Eastshore Unitarian Church in Bellevue WA are coming to Nepal in late March. The Delegation is led by Doug Strombom as well as Barb Clagett, both of whom have visited Nepal with ANSWER before. Most will spend a week in Nepal meeting their students, traveling to Pokhara, and visiting a few schools along the way. As no one is quite sure whether there will be a resurgence of the Dengue Fever epidemic, they are bringing plenty of DEET to ward off mosquitoes.
Earle Canfield (ANSWER’s executive director) is also planning to be there to meet and greet them. They are excited to visit an “ANSWER school” in Kathmandu during student recruiting time to encourage more students to enroll. More about this in our next Newsletter!
